Chief Executive Officer
Lisa is a serial entrepreneur with a track record of successfully building and leading global technology companies. Lisa has diverse experience across multiple markets, including therapeutics, medical devices, life science tools, diagnostics, healthcare IT and cleantech. She was previously CEO at Quantum Dental Technologies, President & CEO at Natrix Separations and Founder & Principal at BioVentures.ca among other roles, and has held numerous Board appointments. Lisa has raised over $30 Million in venture capital and angel financing, negotiated channel partner agreements with multinational market leaders and built customer bases in North America, Europe and Asia. She received her PhD in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
Chief Technology Officer
Robert has over 20 years of experience in professional software development, with focus on robust high performance server design and parallel execution environments. He has significant startup experience, from concept to IPO. His background includes stints at Delrina, Symantec, Netscape, and Platform Computing. He was a co-founder of Delano Technology, which completed a successful IPO on the NASDAQ in February 2000.
Robert finds his motivation in finding the most efficient and appropriate solution to complex technical problems.
Co-Founder/Chief Innovation Officer
An experienced entrepreneur, Giancarlo has founded numerous successful businesses in marketing, digital, and IT areas. Highlights include having designed and built a City Virtual Reality model (at the time, the world’s largest) which was used for the 2008 Toronto Olympic bid and presented to the IOC committee. He subsequently sold the rights to the city of Toronto and the Design Exchange of Toronto. Giancarlo’s work has won numerous design awards including CIPA and a Canadian Marketing Award. Giancarlo holds a BSc of Computer Science from the University of Toronto, and an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
Director of Engineering
Sean is a long-time technologist on Apple and Linux platforms. He previously held the positions of Director of Software at Jazinga Inc. and as Producer at TransGaming Technologies, in charge of developing and deploying games and portability solutions for major publishers such as Electronic Arts and Turner Broadcasting. Sean also served as Project Leader at Corel.
Sean holds a BSc. from the University of Waterloo, and the PMP credential from the Project Management Institute.
